| Thank you for your interest in purchasing our giclée prints. Nearly every photograph on this site are available as a high-quality Ultrachrome Print ready to matt, frame and hang in your home, office or business. We also produce ready-to-hang giclée gallery-wrapped canvases.
We also offer our skills to custom-print your photos and artwork. After more than thirty years of printing, the prints we produce today are the best we have ever produced and are better than any other printing method including Type-C, dye transfer and Ilfochrome (Cibachrome). The control that the technology gives us leaves old printing methods in the dust. Best of all, the new printing technology and material is much friendlier to the environment and should be just as brilliant to our children as it is to us today.. We hand-produce all our own prints and use the best equipment and material in the industry, including the Epson 2200, 4000, 7600, and 9800 printers. These printers combined with the pigmented Ultrachrome inks and matched Epson paper produce prints lasting a minimum of 60 to 80 years before starting to fade, depending upon the paper and framing, according to Wilhelm Imaging Research, the experts in print longevity. With proper framing including UV glazing, each print should last for more than 150 years. Our surface of choice is Premium Luster paper, a soft, semi-gloss surface, but also can print matt, Somerset Velvet fine-art papers and, of course, canvas. The image dictates the dimensions of the print and once matted, fits most standard frame sizes. Each image is prepared in Photoshop, sized for output, tweaked and then personally printed on one of our printers. It is then air-dried then prepared for shipment to you. Prints 12x16 or smaller are shipped flat, larger are rolled and shipped in a tube. Delivery takes from one to six weeks depending upon our travel schedule. |

Please beware that the edges of borderless prints are easily damaged even during careful handling and may still have a small white edge due to the mechanics of printing. We offer museum-quality framing for photos picked up at our studio or galleries throughout Northern California and Nevada. Please add 7% to your order for shipping and handling. For shipments within California, please add 7.75% sales tax. All prints are signed, if you wish. Custom sizes are also available upon request. Our studio is equipped to produce reproduce your artwork and short run or printing-on-demand fine art prints and canvases. Availability is subject to our travel and current work load. Please call for information. Simple reproduction for a short run art print starts at $60-$75 but increases if special file prepartion is required to closely match the original color gamut. Prints generally run from $10 from a properly-prepared file at 8x10 inches to $500 or more for a 3x5 foot stretched canvas. We will need to sit down with you and then discuss what it will take. Some of the unique projects we've produced include: 140 custom prints from 16x24 to 24x36 and up to 20x60 for a local motel, a 600-print custom run for a four print limited edition on watercolor paper with UV overcoating, several 3x5 foot canvases for a historic public display, and custom show printing and framing of Ultrachrome prints from the original rare and valuable silver prints for a several retrospective shows. |
