NV-LEA58-061.JPG Jan Bunning, Chief Clerk of the Mina Justice Court and Chair of the Mina Town Council shows me the town's jail cell, deemed cruel and unusual punishment to those who have called it home. Few people have wished to return and it serves as a strong deturant to others. It is still occationally used. Luning also had a town jail. Since it was on a curve on US Highway 95, many vehicles collided with it and it was torn down.
